Frequently Asked Questions
Why hasn’t my business heard from The Bond Maker yet if you’re hosting an event here?
We begin promoting events before confirming final attendance. Once we reach the minimum number of attendees, we’ll call or email your venue about 1–2 weeks in advance. For smaller gatherings of 10 or fewer, we simply reserve a table under the host’s name or The Bond Maker.
What if guests call asking about an event and our staff isn’t aware?
This can happen if attendees hear about the event before we’ve contacted the venue. Please assure them the reservation is under our host’s name or The Bond Maker. Our host always arrives 30 minutes early to greet guests and confirm the setup with the receptionist.
How do you decide when to coordinate directly with a business?
For small groups (10 or fewer), a standard table reservation is all that’s needed. For larger parties, we coordinate directly to ensure your team is prepared without disruption to normal operations.
Why don’t you notify venues further in advance?
We want to be mindful of your business. Confirming too early could lead to overstaffing or extra food prep if attendance doesn’t meet our minimums. By waiting until closer to the date, we ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary strain on your operations.
What’s your goal when partnering with local businesses?
Our mission is to support local establishments while creating meaningful experiences for women. We work hard to ensure our events enhance—not disrupt—your business, and we value building long-term community partnerships.
Do businesses need to be Bond for Business members to partner with you?
No, you do not need to be a Bond for Business member to host our community. However, if one of our members offers the same type of service, we prioritize their business first as part of our commitment to member support.
How many attendees should we expect at an event?
Our events range in size—from intimate indoor gatherings of 10–12 people, to outdoor meetups of 10–15, and even large-scale events with up to 100 attendees. We’ll always communicate group size expectations in advance.
Do you promote the businesses you partner with?
Yes! As a thank you, we leave 5-star Google reviews for our venue partners. These reviews have been seen more than 7.5 million times, giving your business added visibility and credibility.
